How much is the Membership?

$35/month (includes sales tax)

Is there a trial period?

Yes, when signing up there is a 2-day Free Trial Offer that allows you to read all issues; however, members are only consider Premium Members after the first payment. That means you are unable to win any Prizes during the free trial period.

What am I getting?

The $35/month pays for a Ducky Tran membership. This membership provides a multitude of benefits, such as extravagant prizes, entertaining content, exclusive deals and more!

With a Premium Membership, you will receive a steel membership card that will be utilized as an access key for many deals, events and facilities in the future. What’s the catch?

This is the most common question I get from prospective members. The answer is simple. There isn’t one. You are already paying $35/month, this pays for the staffing, prizes, events, content and removal of ads that most businesses utilized to be able to give out free subscriptions.

Membership Benefits:

Access to the Ducky Tran Newsletter

The Ducky Tran newsletter is a weekly digital newsletter that will be sent out each Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM CST and can be accessed on the Ducky Tran website. The newsletter is the primary way to communicate weekly announcements, host weekly contests, poll the community, offer exclusive deals and provide content for entertainment to the community.

As mentioned before, the newsletter will not have advertising. I will have links to items that are mentioned throughout the newsletter for your convenience, which will be indicated by an underline just like this. Banners will also be clickable for your convenience but will not be ads or affiliate links; instead, they are there to make the newsletter more vibrant and palatable for the average reader. You may be wondering, well, isn’t “sponsored” deals = advertising? Yes, yes it is…sort of.

Exclusive Sponsored Deals

Perfect time to bring up the second benefit, exclusive sponsored deals!

Normally, a business would allow advertisers to present their products/services to their members to earn money. Well, when I said no ads, I meant it. I will not make any money from sponsors! Even if the deal is in form of money to Ducky Tran, I will still use it to give back to the community. I will not accept sponsors unless they give an overwhelmingly good deal to the Ducky Tran community.

For example, if I want Apple as a sponsor, I will reach out to them. If Apple decides it would be profitable to work with the Ducky Tran community, they will negotiate with me. Let’s say I am able to give out 100 free iPhone through a sponsored agreement with Apple, then I will do it. By posting a banner of Apple’s new iPhone in the newsletter, I will be able to give out 100 iPhone to the first 100 members that click on banner. The banner will let me know who clicked on the banner so I can give the prizes out appropriately, but also the banner will re-direct You to Apple’s new iPhone page.

This is just an example, but the idea is the same for all sponsored deals in the future. Unless I receive an overwhelming good deal for You, I will not have any sponsored ads. I look forward to showing some amazing deals that I have negotiated just for You!

Exclusive Merchandise

I want to show everyone the pride I have for the Ducky Tran community and I want other members to be able to do so too. The Ducky Tran Store will have branded merchandise specifically made to show-off the brand and community. I have priced it to barely be profitable since I want it to be affordable for everyone. Since it is exclusive to members, there is a password that updates every week on Wednesday after the weekly newsletter is released. The password will be at the end of the newsletter.

But don’t feel like You need to purchase the merchandise to be supportive. Most of the merchandise will be gifts that any member can receive through the referral program. I’ve created a referral program so rewarding that within the first 10 referrals, You will receive 5 gifts! I did this because I want to show that I believe in this community more than anyone else, so I’m splurging on the members that help us grow by giving them branded merchandise to rep the community.

Priority Access to Events

You know where else You can rep the brand? At festivals, music and sporting events! Throughout the year, I will be searching for events that the community are interested in and negotiating priority, backstage and exclusive access for the Ducky Tran community. Many of these events will be limited and will be first-come, first-serve, so don’t miss out on the weekly newsletter where all the information will be posted.

Member Exclusive Events

Other than public events, I will be hosting private events for member only, or events where members will get in for free. This is one of those times your membership card will be utilized to get access to a benefit.

For example, I’ve been thinking about hosting members-only dinner in multiple cities around the United States during the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. I would book out the facility, cater the food, plan the entertainment and invite the members through the newsletter. Any member that show up will be given access.

You may be thinking, how will I know where to host and how many people will show up? That’s a good question, that brings us to the next benefit.

Community-Guided Brand

As mentioned above, I really wanted to give this private community the ability to drive the direction of the brand. I will be setting up polls at the end of each week’s newsletter that will allow You to give feedback in just a few simple clicks. If there are other inputs, You can always email me or comment at the end of the newsletter and I will try to address it.

For example, a few months before I host the Thanksgiving parties, I would give a list of a few cities that I know we have the most members from. Then whichever cities get the most votes, I will host the parties. Then I’ll have another poll that will help me indicate how many people plan to come to each of the parties.

The goal with having polls is to do more than just vote for parties. I want to give the community their choice in prizes, events, content and even future benefits. The next benefit is where the polls will be very important.

The Bespoke Photo Contest

The Bespoke Photo Contest is a monthly photo contest that will be announced in the newsletter during the first Wednesday of each month. It is meant to be a method in which I can award large prizes for a select few. With the polls, this large prize can be decided by You, the members. The specifics and rules of the contests will be in this pinned post, which will discuss about the two photo contests in the Ducky Tran newsletter.

The Ultra High End Photo Contest

The Ultra High End Photo Contest is a weekly contest. Unlike The Bespoke, it will have small to medium prizes for many more members. It is meant to award many members each week. With The Bespoke and The Ultra High End contests, I will be able to give prizes to many members each month and I will hope to get back pictures of the amazing prizes and their reactions!

Non-profit Fundraising

With these contests, I am able to give back to the members of our private community. However, I also wanted to incorporate a way to give back to our public community. Every few months, I will include a non-profit organization in the newsletter that I have researched and made contact with. I will try to find a way for our private community to make a difference to our public community, may it be through virtual fundraising, in-person event or some combination of them both. I believe this will not only bring a positive light to our community but also bring the members closer as we participate in these events.

Member Facilities Access

Out of all the current benefits, this one is the only one that has not been implemented. This benefit is here because this is my first goal as a community. I want to be able to fund facilities in which the members could access for with your membership card at little to no cost. It may include a gym, lounges, meeting rooms, refreshments, entertainment or anything else You would vote for in the future. This is something I’m really looking forward to and I hope You are too!
